Barron Hockey Academy In-Season Training
We are excited to introduce our new in-season training sessions that include, team, group, personal and circuit training that focus in on the hockey specific area’s of:
- Strength
- Speed
- Agility
- Explosiveness
- Core
- Eye hand Coordination
- Balance
- Flexibility
- Injury Prevention
We focus in maintaining what each hockey player has accomplished without over training. Over training during in-season can cause fatigue and decrease the players or teams performance. If your session is a day before a game, we are very sensitive to players, coaches and teams needs to put proper training regimens in place, so that each player will perform at their best on game day.
We work directly with the team’s coaches to gauge what their team needs to focus on during the in-season time of year.
Barron Hockey Academy Off-Season Training
Barron Hockey Academy is first and foremost the leading edge hockey specific training facility in Southern California. We believe that all sports are not created equal. You wouldn’t send your hockey player to train with a football trainer, would you? We specialize in, on-ice and off-ice training only. We utilize state of the art hockey specific equipment.
At our academy, you will find our state of the art skate treadmill, which focuses on proper form, technique, and explosiveness. In the very near future, we will have synthetic ice with reaction pods designed for quick feet, speed, agility and reaction.
The off-Season is upon us and we are excited to introduce our new off-season training sessions that include, team, group, personal and circuit training that focus in on the hockey specific area’s of:

We break our hockey training down into four quadrants:
- Off-Season
- Pre-Season
- In-Season
- Post Season
Off-season training is the only time for hockey athletes to gain size, strength, speed and explosiveness during the short months before tryouts. Do not let this window of opportunity get away. Skating alone will not improve your over all game.
Our sessions are intense and paired up to each player’s age and physical ability. We break the game down to a science to maximize your hockey player’s specific goals. Our staff is here to meet with you and put a plan together to make your game complete! |
