The 4 times CJHL Champions Pembroke Lumber Kings are proud to announce their first ‘Futures Prospect Camp’ in Southern California.  Larry Barron,  a minority owner of Kings, and Sheldon Keefe,  the GM and Head Coach will be directing and monitoring this camp for strong candidates to pursue their hockey careers in Canada,  either now or in the near future. The camp will consist of daily game scrimmages and off-ice training and testing. Off-ice testing will be conducted in the Barron Hockey Academy training facility, only feet away from the ice surface.

The History and success of the Lumber Kings is all you need to know to understand that Pembroke runs a first class program that will help develop players not only in hockey but also in their education. We are only interested in players that are driven, motivated and focused in using the Lumber Kings as a stepping stone to NCAA hockey.

It has been proven that the Pembroke Lumber Kings and the CJHL have been a great avenue for Southern California players to pursue their hockey careers. Just look at the names and success of the California Players below.
